MR LINCOLN VISITS THE TELEGRAPH OFFICE



A Civil War reenactor, portraying President Lincoln visits the U. S. Military Telegraph Office in Fort Zachary Taylor in Key West, FL, during the 2007 Civil War Days at that location.  The office is staffed by Florida Chapter member Robert Feeney, seated at the telegraph key, and his father, Florida Chapter member John Feeney, standing.

Oscar the Raccoon was a big hit, especially with the younger spectators, as he sat in the cooking pot, twitching his tail, at the encampment of the Southern Telegraph Company at the 2007 Brooksville Raid Civil War reeanacmtnt.
