SEPT. 4-5-6, 2010 PIONEER DAYS, FLORIDA PIONEER MUSEUM, DADE CITY, FL
The Old Trilby Depot on the grounds of the Pioneer Florida Museum, located one mile north of Dade City on U. S. Highway 301, will be staffed for business over this three day holiday weekend. FX Chapter members will demonstrate 1950s era telegraphic activities which took place in the old depot.
NOVEMBER 9-14, 2010 OCALI DAYS FESTIVAL, OCALA, FL
FX Chapter has been invited to participate in this annual event which will be held November 9-14, 2010 at the Silver River Museum, Ocala, FL. Tuesday, November 9 through Friday, November 12, are School Days, while Saturday and Sunday, November 13-14, are open to the general public. Further details will be added as they become available. FEBRUARY 5-6, 2011 FARM FESTIVAL, PIONEER FLORIDA MUSEUM, DADE CITY, FL
The old Trilby Depot on the grounds of the Pioneer Florida Museum, located one mile north of Dade City on U. S. Highway 301, will be open for business during this annual event, with FX chapter members demonstrating the use of Morse telegraphy in railroading.
MARCH 19, 2011 LEVY COUNTY (FL) RAILROAD DAYS
FX Chapter has been invited to participate in this one-time event, celebrating the arrival of railroads in Levy County. Check back at this site for details as to location and times, which will be added when they become available.
MARCH 19, 2011 PLANT CITY MODEL RAILROAD SHOW
FX Chapter members will be on hand during this annual event to demonstrate antique and replica telegraph instruments and equipment. For further details, see the link to the H. B. Plant Railroad Historical Society on the Links page of this site.
APRIL 30, 2011 MORSE DAY CELEBRATION
The annual Morse Day Celebration will be held April 30, 2011, at the Central Florida Railroad Museum, 101 South Boyd Street, Winter Garden, FL. Check back at this site later for further details, which will be added as they become available.
MAY 28, 2011 RAILROAD DAY, AUBURNDALE, FL
FX Chapter has been invited to participate in this one-time event, the 100th anniversary of the completion of the railroad to the City of Auburndale. Further details will be added as they become available.
